Just wanted to let users know that I have opened up a comments section on the blog so you can leave messages, thoughts, comments etc about the shows, or anything else for that matter.

Social Events for 2008

Various events have been suggested for 2009. They include a walk to Publow, Murder Mystery Walks around Bristol Harbour, a Comedy Walk in Bath, clay pigeon shooting, skittles evening. These ideas hopefully will be given dates very shortly, so watch this space.

The Murder Mystery Nights on the 27th and 28th March proved very successful with full houses on both nights. This Who-dunnit was set in the country manor house of Colonel and Lady Rodney Gung Ho. When guests are invited for the weekend, the Colonel realises that one of them is a rather nasty bookmaker, Oliver Smooche who he is heavily in debt to. But as luck would have it, Smooche has underestimated Lady Phyl and when she finds out that this ‘moron’ is making a play for her daughter and the manor, she bumps him off whilst he sleeps off a heavy drinking session.

With a supper provided in the interval, with a chance for the packed houses to try and guess the murderer, a fun packed evening was had by all who attended.

The Saltford Drama Club website has been on-line now since November 2007 and it has received good hit figures from Google stats.

We hope that you find the site informative as well as fun to use as we will be adding content on an adhoc basis.

You can find details of our productions and events from this site as well as keep up to date with day to day goings on via our blog section. Our webmasters will be adding loads more content over the coming months so bookmark this site now!
